This four-bedroom, 4.5 bath Dudley Parker-built Executive retreat is perched up a wooded, winding drive-emerging above Bald Head's High Dune treetops to reveal spectacular seascapes. This home's first level offers very private front and side porches and, inside, its foyer warmly welcomes. Off of the foyer are three suites-each including its own full, private bath with granite counters and tiled showers. The first two-a King and a Queen-are light-filled rooms with generous closets and storage. The third bedroom is furnished with two Twins and offers access to the front porch.

Upstairs, a vaulted-ceiling open floor plan makes the most of its walls of windows by highlighting ocean panoramas extending from Frying Pan Shoals all the way down South Beach. The bright living space is anchored by a gas fireplace, features built-ins and extends egress to the home's piece-de-resistance-its deep, covered water-facing front and side porches. You'll spend contented hours here rocking while relishing shimmering seascapes and savoring snacks as well as salty breezes at the al fresco dining area. If inside meals are your preference, you'll still be surrounded by briny views at the generous, window-surrounded dining table. Nearby a granite breakfast bar offers even more seating. The gourmet kitchen serves up stainless appliances, plenty of storage and counter space and both water and forested dune views. Down the hall, the King Owner's suite boasts additional sunlit water perspectives, its own access to the upper porch, a private office and an oversize ensuite bath with a his/her vanity, a water closet, and a large sea-glass pebble/tiled shower. This level also houses the laundry and a half bath.

Conveniently located near the Island's center-close to both the beach and shops and providing access to WWP's 24/7 Property Manager Assistance Line-which means you can reach needed help even after hours or on weekends, this gem is an ideal BHI haven. The elevator is not for guest use at this property.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON CLUBS: Both clubs are independent from WWP or any WWP properties. As such, all arrangements for temporary memberships must be handled by renters directly with the Clubs. Renters are strongly encouraged to make desired reservations with the club immediately upon booking, and also to become familiar with club policies, procedures, and schedules. WWP representatives will not be able to answer most club-related questions.

Great house
We’ve stayed in many houses at Bald Head Island and really enjoyed Captain Tanks. Nice location on the dune with views of the ocean and a breeze. The house is well-stocked with beach and kitchen items, bikes, and everything we needed. Clean and well taken care of and overall in excellent condition. Easy walk or bike ride to beach access just a couple of hundred yards away. The property management company responded immediately when a golf cart had a flat tire. They fixed it up and dropped it off at the house in less than an hour.

Captain Tank's is hard to beat!
Wow, wow, wow! Like staying in a brand new home! Captain Tank's has sneaky great views even though it is perfectly tucked away - feels like a private retreat. Has absolutely everything you'd need from amazing beach towels to a beach wagon. Fun little Captain Tank's touches everywhere! Perfect size for our family of 5, with room to spare. We'll be BACK!

Wonderful winter getaway at this beautiful home. The views are amazing and the location is perfect. Central to everything! The home was immaculate and had everything you could need - extra kitchen items that were unexpected but appreciated as well as linens and blankets.

Beautiful Home
We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home. Our two adult children and their baby had their own private space downstairs and my husband was able to utilize the home office for the days he needed to work from home. The views are absolutely stunning and the home is well equipped with everything we needed. I would recommend to anyone!

What a fantastic house! It’s beautiful, fully appointed, clean and the location is excellent. We’ve rented on BHI for 7 years and this house took the cake. The golf carts are clean and new. The view is spectacular. Very happy!

Beautiful, new home in great location!
his well-kept, beautifully decorated home was perfect for our week on BHI. The owners thought of everything from multiple outlets next to the beds to a well-outfitted kitchen. The house was sparkling clean when we arrived with comfortable furniture and we tried to leave it in similar condition when we left. The photos were very accurate and we'd be happy to return in the future...The location of the house is ideal being mid-way on the island with easy access to the BHI Club and Midway market. We especially loved mornings and sunsets on the second floor deck looking out at the ocean.
