Just steps away from the sand, Bonnie Dune boasts soothing Atlantic seascapes and alluring sunsets. Situated in the award-winning community of Flora's Bluff, this two-bedroom/2.5-bath oceanfront cottage beckons you to relax to ocean lullabies on its covered porch swing, dine alfresco-style on the screened porch and enjoy BHI's South Beach via a private beach boardwalk and access. Inside you'll appreciate the open living space featuring hardwood floors, bright, natural light and a mounted 65 inch flat screen smart TV. The nearby dining area boasts a table that easily accommodates six and the adjacent kitchen gleams with quartz countertops, wine fridge, bar seating, and loads of counter space. There's also a bonus sunroom with an additional 50-inch smart TV that is the perfect spot for movies, cozy conversations or a quick nap.

Upstairs the Owner's Suite features a King bed, a spa-like bath and a private balcony with breathtaking ocean views-an ideal place for morning coffee, dolphin watching or late night stargazing. The second suite offers two Queen beds and a private full bath. Bonnie Dune's additional amenities include: WIFI, a Bluetooth home stereo system, games and reading library, beach chairs/beach umbrella, outdoor shower, outdoor gas grill, fenced backyard and a six-passenger golf cart. Convenient access to WWP's 24/7 Property Manager Assistance so that you can reach needed help even after hours or on weekends. One dog allowed (unless pre-approval granted) for a required additional non-refundable $300 fee. This property does not provide bicycles however they can be rented on the island. Bonnie Dune has memberships available at BOTH CLUBS! The BHI Club/Shoals Club are independent from WWP or any WWP properties. As such, all arrangements for temporary memberships must be handled by renters directly with the Clubs. Renters are strongly encouraged to make desired reservations with the club immediately upon booking, and also to become familiar with club policies, procedures, and schedules. WWP representatives will not be able to answer most club-related questions.

Beautifully appointed, centrally located home

This home was perfect for our family of two adults, two kids under 10, and a dog. The decor was welcoming, beachy, comfortable, and perfectly coordinated. The house was well stocked with kitchen supplies, books, games, and beach chairs and toys. The best views were from the master bedroom balcony on the second floor because the dunes are high. We enjoyed eating out on the screened porch on the first floor. We appreciated having access to both clubs and the fact that they were equidistant from the house. It was also nice being so close to the market. The golf cart was great; although we wished it had had rain protection while we weathered Tropical Storm Debby! Needless to say, it wasn't ideal vacationing during a tropical storm, but this home was so lovely that it made everything okay!

Perfect Oceanfront Family Vacation Home

This home is the best oceanfront vacation home we’ve ever stayed at - home is beautiful, location is quiet, views are spectacular, beach access is private, beach is not crowded and very peaceful, and the home has everything you need - 2 bathrooms (one with a tub so it can handle little ones), an outside shower, fantastic kitchen with tons of supplies, excellent washer and dryer, beach chairs, some sand toys, etc. Can’t recommend this home enough!

Wonderful Stay at Bonnie Dune

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Bonnie Dunn. It felt like our home away from home. It is in a great location, with a beautiful view of the ocean from the upper deck, where we often sat to watch the sunset. The home was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We were especially thankful we could bring our sweet four-legged friend along for the adventure. Bonnie Dune is a quick golf cart ride away to the Market area, BHI club, or East Beach. We would definitely recommend this home, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Perfect BHI Getaway

We’ve rented Bonnie Dune twice and have loved our time there. The house has everything we need, is exceptionally clean, and the decor is beautiful with a wonderful beach vibe. The updated kitchen is very well equipped. Everything we need for meal prep and serving is there. The screened-in porch is a great spot for breakfast and the upper deck, off the master BR is the perfect place to enjoy sunsets and watch the stars come out. The “back yard” is nicely shaded later in the afternoon and a very nice venue for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. The new, large golf cart is great and holds a charge quite well. You can tour the entire island on a single charge - we did! The BHI Club is a great amenity and we have always availed ourselves of the dining and golf. And best of all, the home (& beach!) is dog friendly! And there is never any evidence that the house has been occupied by a dog - no dog hairs on anything - as previously mentioned, it’s exceptionally clean! We can’t wait to come back again next year.

A Bonnie Time at the Bonnie Dune!

We enjoyed the easy & private beach access, the many board games, & the large golf cart was comfortable to drive. We were just a short drive to the market & shops & to ice cream places!!! Perfect Vacation Home on Bald Head Island

From start to finish, the rental experience and the vacation home were flawless. The agency (& it’s website) provided us with up to the minute information about the home, the travel process, check-in/check-out, and on-island suggestions. The home itself couldn’t have been better. It was extremely clean, very tastefully decorated, the kitchen was well-equipped, the beds comfy, with a stunning view of the ocean. The walk to the beach was quick and once you got there....WOW! Great for small families

We adored this little cottage ! The property has lovely furnishings and the location is perfect ! We arrived to a clean space and we would recommend to friends and family . Perfect house for a family of 5

This was our 8th trip to BHI and Bonnie Dune was our favorite house yet. The layout is perfect for a family and you can't beat this location. The finished porch was a fun place for the kids to hang out, definitely a unique room for a beach house. The house came with a great golf cart, everything you need in the kitchen, and supplies for the beach. Wendy Wilmot Properties made the rental process very smooth. Great home to rent!

My husband & I spent 5 days at this lovely rental . We were with another couple and the accommodations were gteat! The kitchen was well stocked and extra towels in each bathroom was appreciated as well as beach towels. I think that it should be noted that both bedrooms are upstairs & there is only a 4 person golf.cart. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone.

Bonnie Dune exceeded our expectations! It is darling, comfy, and the perfect size for a small family (which is sometimes hard to find on BHI). There are so many thoughtful touches which made a great week even better. Terrific location with wonderful views. Even the golf cart is top notch. We will definitely be back!
