Growing up in the military, I moved all around the United States before falling in love with the Piedmont region of North Carolina while attending Wake Forest University. After college, my husband and I spent many years in Pittsburgh, PA as our family grew, before finally returning to North Carolina in 2008 (Greensboro). We found it to be an ideal location with access to the outdoors (equidistant from mountains and the coast), local and national entertainment, wonderful food, and college athletics. Until we experienced having a vacation home on Bald Head Island!

Our BHI journey began in 2004 even before we moved to Greensboro, NC. We began as visitors, transitioned to ownership in 2018, and now I am a proud member of the WWP Rex/Schutt Team! The uniqueness of this Island is unparalleled and, even after 5 years of owning our own space on BHI, we still get the same warm excitement every time we come back. This is why I know that I can help you find your perfect Island space as well!
