Our family - hubby Gary, our three children and I - first visited Bald Head Island in the summer of 1996 and fell in love with it even before disembarking the ferry! Since then, we have purchased land here; owned two homes and still enjoy a successful rental property called Aunt Annie's.

I am a retired United Methodist Pastor. Service to others is one of my passions. I am on the board of SERV International, a non-profit that brings food, water, shelter and life to the needy in Kenya. I also volunteer with the Bald Head Island Chapel, the Bald Head Island Conservancy and serve as the Chaplain for BHI's Public Safety Department.

I have been happily surprised to find the similarities of serving others in real estate and being a pastor far surpass the differences. As a pastor, I was given the invitation to be a part of people’s lives when others were not – times of joy, sorrow, expectation, change and so much more. People instilled their trust in me. I accepted this as an honor and a privilege. The invitation of trust also translates into real estate. Buying or selling a home brings joy, sorrow, expectation and change to one’s life. You can trust me to walk with you on that journey with my eyes, ears and mind focused on your Island dreams.
